Clinton Tavern Since 1936.
A Bar With A History
Spruce Street Tavern has served Clinton, Massachusetts since 2008 — but there's been a bar at 68 Spruce Street since 1936. We're a neighborhood tavern in the oldest sense: good pizza, cold drafts, a friendly staff, and a room that's been bringing this town together for the better part of a century.

The building has poured drinks through nine decades. We've kept what made it work and added what it needed — five hi-def TVs for the big game, WiFi, Keno, and a kitchen turning out thin-crust pizza and steak bombs that regulars will tell you are among the best in Central Mass.

Live Music & Trivia
Games, Music & Good Company
Our 1935 vintage 22-foot shuffleboard table is the centerpiece of the room — an original, still in play, and a genuine rarity anywhere in New England. Pull up alongside it for darts or cornhole, or grab a seat and let someone else take a turn.

There's a reason to stop in most nights of the week. Trivia on Wednesdays at 7, the Pizza & Pitcher special on Thursdays, karaoke on Fridays at 9, and live music every Saturday. The staff knows the regulars by name, and it doesn't take long to become one.
